Upgrades and the Sale of Older Versions

Copying the software or documentation for others is prohibited, whether or not sold, but your license and all of the material purchased (with all backup copies and all older versions) may be sold to another person.

If your license to use Reunion was purchased or accepted as an upgrade to an older version of the software, you are not obtaining an additional license to use the software. You are only extending your existing license to use the new version legally. Therefore, the sale of prior versions in your possession is prohibited without transferring your one and only license and complete ownership of all versions.

Put another way, if you upgrade or update to the latest version of Reunion, your license to use the older version(s) of Reunion and any older material (such as older installer CDs or packaging) is not separately transferable to anyone. You can only give away or sell your license to use Reunion and your copy of the Reunion software if you give away or sell your one and only license and all versions at once (i.e., the old version[s] if you have not destroyed them, and the upgraded version).

Example: if you upgrade to Reunion 10, you can not sell your license to use Reunion 9 or any earlier version on eBay or give it to a friend.
